OSU Sports Medicine is committed to trans-disciplinary collaboration. Sports Medicine has faculty in Orthopaedics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Physical Therapy. Our research involves the College of Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, School of Allied Medical Professions, Biomedical Informatics, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Faculty and staff teach undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students. OSU Sports Medicine faculty are also involved in numerous multi-center studies, grants, national and international presentations and ongoing publications.
Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary and novel research that spans the entire campus and helps The Ohio State University realize its full potential in the burgeoning and encompassing field of life performance, sports health and physical activity. We strive for a life-long, multi-disciplinary, multi-system study of performance and activity for all as well as recreational and competitive athletes.
