Experience & Interests
Kathy is a member of our Endurance Medicine Team, Hip Outcome Team and P4ACL Injury Prevention Team.
Her clinical interests include endurance athletes at both the recreational and elite levels, injury prevention and sports performance. She is actively involved in two endurance medicine research projects: studying normative values to improve video swim stroke analysis and determination of the best treatment techniques to most efficiently return runners to sport.
Kathy provides medical support at local running and multisport events, including the Ross TriFit Challenge and Pelotonia. She also presents educational lectures about injury prevention, training and rehabilitation of the endurance athlete and the patient with hip labral repair post-operative rehab guidelines. Additionally, she specializes in performing video gait analyses, bike fittings and video swim stroke analyses.
An active athlete, Kathy has completed three Boston Marathons and five Ironman triathlon events. She is also is an avid cyclist, completing tours across Ohio, Colorado and California. During her free time, other recreational interests include skiing, swimming and climbing.
