Thomas Best, MD, PhD, co-medical director of OSU Sports Medicine Center and Professor / Pomerene Chair in Family Medicine, recently spoke at the Swedish International Sports Medicine Symposium in Stockholm, Sweden. He delivered the key note address in addition to making two other presentations.

The keynote address, Muscle Injuries from Basic Science to Clinical Practice, was presented in the historic 1912 Olympic Stadium. He was introduced by Dr. Ejnar Eriksson, widely acknowledged as the forefather of sports medicine in Sweden. Dr. Best spoke from the actual awards podium. His other presentations were Evidence Based Sports Medicine and Stretching – Pros and Cons.
