Thomas Best, MD, PhD, co-medical director of OSU Sports Medicine Center and Professor / Pomerene Chair in Family Medicine, recently lectured in London, England at “Sport Muscle Injury Think Tank,” an international gathering of renowned sports medicine practitioners.
Best and other invitees explored the frontiers of clinical knowledge and research relating to the current and future management of muscle injuries in elite performance athletes. The two-day event included many of the world’s foremost leaders in sports injury science and research. Many of the delegates will be in Oslo, Norway in June 2008 where Dr. Best will give one of the keynote addresses at the 2nd World Congress of Injury Prevention In Sports.
