Grant Jones, MD, orthopedic surgeon at OSU Sports Medicine, was selected 2007 Team Physician of the Year by the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association. This award honors physicians who have demonstrated support and dedication to the athletic trainer and teams he or she works with.

Dr. Jones was nominated by OSU athletic trainer Vince O’Brien ATC, who felt that his work played a huge role in the success of the OSU men's basketball team this year. “He is an excellent clinician, cares deeply for our athletes and is passionate about his role as team physician. Grant is an outstanding teacher and goes above and beyond on a daily basis to help those in need.”
