The Ohio State Medical Center leads the region with nine specialties named as among the best in America in the latest U.S. News & World Report magazine (July 17 issue). OSU Medical Center is among only a handful of hospitals in the country ranked in multiple specialties. This is the 14th consecutive year the magazine has named OSU Medical Center one of “America’s Best Hospitals.” In this year’s rankings, Ohio State is recognized as a leader in cancer care, ear, nose & throat, endocrinology, gynecology, kidney disease, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics, respiratory disorders and rehabilitation. OSU’s cancer program jumped eight places to be listed at 21.
