According to a Docs Rate Docs survey conducted by The Columbus Dispatch and WBNS-TV, OSU Sports Medicine physicians were highly regarded among their peers. 5,000 physicians in central Ohio were asked a single question: “If you or a family member needed treatment in the following medical specialties, which central Ohio physicians would you seek out or recommend?”
Their responses selected Christopher Kaeding, MD as the #1 orthopaedic surgeon in the Columbus area and #3 of all sports medicine physicians. Grant Jones, MD ranked 6th among orthopaedic surgeons and #8 on the list of sports medicine specialists. Brian Bowyer, MD and Raymond Pongonis, DO tied for 17th best sports medicine physician.
