Outreach

At OSU Sports Medicine Center, our faculty, services and clinical programs provide educational support and learning opportunities to future professionals in our community and nationally. With contracts to schools, athletic teams and various businesses, we help provide training and evidenced based programs not only to share our knowledge and challenge ourselves but so that the community overall can benefit from our quality of care.

Outreach
Athletic trainers provide coverage at athletic events.

Athletic trainers at OSU Sports Medicine serve in many capacities, including coordinating physician clinics, assisting in physical therapy and rehabilitation and providing coverage for athletic events. They are involved in educating coaches, athletes, and health care professionals. Outreach activities include providing onsite care to athletes at Columbus State Community College and Columbus Public Schools, Ohio Premier Girls Soccer Club, OSU club sports, the OSU Dance Department, and BalletMet.
