Dr Borchers is working toward a Master of Public Health degree.

Notes:

Dr Borchers is a Team Physician for the Buckeyes football and lacrosse teams and is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine for the OSU College of Medicine. He joined The OSU Sports Medicine Center staff in 2004. His clinical interests include pedatric sports medicine and medical management of arthritis among physically active patients.

Dr Borchers was a four-year letterman as a member of the OSU football team.  After graduation, he attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, then completed his residency in family medicine and a sports medicine fellowship at The Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.

He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and holds a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr Borchers is a member of The American College of Sports Medicine, The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and The American Academy of Family Practice.

As a member of the OSU Football team Dr Borchers received Ohio State Scholar Athlete and Academic All Big-Ten awards all four years and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society in 1992.
