Education for Public > Coaches Certification Workshops
In Ohio, coaches and others who supervise or direct activities for students which involve athletics or other physical activity must hold current Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit issued by The Ohio Department of Education.
The OSU Sports Medicine Center offers quarterly sports medicine certification workshops. These four-hour programs certify the coach for 3 calendar years from July 1. Speakers include our staff of sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers and physical therapists as well as other professionals from The Ohio State University.
